Welcome to Kunming Biomed International (KBI), National Engineering Research Center of Biomedicine and Animal Science. The Center was established with the approval of the National and Yunnan Provincial Government and features a state-of-the-art facility of international standard with a highly experienced research and management team.

The primate breeding facilities as well as GLP laboratories of KBI feature excellent supporting measures in animal nutrition and welfare which conform to AAALAC standards and follow necessary international industrial norms (SFDA, US FDA and OECD). Devoted to the research and development of the primate models of nervous system and metabolic diseases, KBI provides clients world-wide with efficient and high quality service and technique support in the fields of scientific research and preclinical safety evaluations. KBI will also continue to contribute our best towards the constant improvement of primate stem cell and transgenic animal technology.
